Delivery Driver & Yard Laborer

**Position profile**:
The Delivery Driver & Yard Laborer is a key position for operational and logístical efficiency at Norheim Ranching. Providing thorough and efficient completion of assigned tasks is key to the overall success of the location. Day to day responsibilities include delivering equipment to customers, maintaining shop and warehouse cleanliness, maintain yard organization and cleanliness, clean and wash equipment, assist with inbound and outbound freight, assisting with shipping and receiving of parts and whole goods, and assisting shop staff when required

**Position reports to**: Service Manager

**Major responsibilities**:
**General**
- Load, strap and deliver customer equipment and purchases in a timely and courteous fashion
- Assist with loading and unloading of freight at yard
- Maintain shop and warehouse cleanliness
- Assist with all yard cleanliness and maintenance
- Clean and wash equipment
- Assist shop staff when necessary
- Move equipment and organize yard
- Complete simple pre-delivery inspections on equipment
- Assist with loading freight for customers when necessary
- All other tasks as assigned by supervisor

**Basic qualifications**
- Basic English comprehension
- Effective communication skills
- Physically fit and able to lift and move various objects of varying weight
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Focus on safety and efficiency in job
- Able to prioritize tasks

**Education and experience**

Grade 12 diploma or GED

Preference is given to previous experience in an equipment dealership or similar surrounding.

Must have valid Class 5 license. Having a valid Class 1 license is considered a strong asset.

In past roles, you must have towed large equipment and/or large flatdeck trailers.

Must be able to get to and from the work site. Company vehicles are available for all company business.

Pay: $17.00-$25.00 per hour
