**Part-Time Handyman (Subcontractor) - High-Skill / Multi-Trade**

- **$30-$35/hr equivalent** for skilled handyman labor (paid per job/contract)
- Optional **part-time painter work at $18-$22/hr** when handyman jobs are not scheduled

We are looking for a **highly skilled, professional handyman subcontractor** with strong multi-trade experience who can complete jobs independently, efficiently, and to a high standard.

This role is ideal for someone who wants **flexible, per-job contract work**, with the option to pick up **part-time painting hours** during slower handyman periods.

**Required Experience**
- Proven handyman or multi-trade experience (**1+ year minimum preferred**)
- Ability to work **independently** and manage small projects
- Reliable transportation and **own tools**:

- Professional communication with homeowners
- Physically capable of skilled residential work

**Core Skills Required (Painting Is Secondary)**

Applicants should have experience in **most of the following**:
**Flooring**
- Click-board / floating floor installation
- Subfloor prep, layout, and transitions

**Carpentry & Trim**
- Trim installation and removal (baseboards, casings, shoe mold)
- Door adjustments and minor framing
- Removal and disposal of job-related junk and materials

**Drywall & Repairs**
- Drywall patching, taping, sanding, and blending
- Repairing damaged walls and ceilings

**Bathroom & Fixture Work (Minor Plumbing)**
- Toilet installation and replacement
- Sink and vanity installation
- Faucet repair and replacement
- Mirror installation
- Minor bathroom improvements
- (no major plumbing or licensed work required)_

**Exterior & Structural Work**
- Building and repairing exterior steps
- Installing railings (wood or metal)
- Deck repairs and basic deck building
- Exterior wood repairs

**Tools & Technical Knowledge**
- Knowledge and experience using **most hand and power tools**:

- Confident with saws, drills, levels, nailers, fastening systems, and layout tools
- Safe, organized jobsite practices

**Experience With Older Homes**
- Comfortable working in **older residential homes**:

- Ability to adapt to uneven floors, out-of-square framing, and aging materials
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

**Professional Expectations**
- Communicate professionally with clients at all times
- Confirm scope and instructions with the owner before starting work
- Report any client questions or concerns immediately
- Complete work **within agreed contract scope and time**:

- Consistently **overperform on job sites**:

- Leave every job site **cleaner than it was found**:

- Represent the company with professionalism and respect
