- How your role will add to the story:

- The role of the Pre-Owned & Remarketing Specialist is to support the continued development of a benchmark Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) program for Mercedes-Benz Canada and dealer network. You will utilize Business Intelligence tools to conduct research and prepare data analysis that support the CPO & Remarketing sales operation, financial position and overall planning strategies. This role will also work in collaboration with Regional Operations Manager’s (ROM’s) and Mercedes-Benz Financial Services to support the preparation and maintenance of existing sales reports, process documents and dealer communication memos.
- A day in the life:
- Provides analytical support and advises on departmental Key Performance Indicators pertaining to Off-Lease Maturity portfolio and CPO retail sales to improve sales results
- Primary lead in maintaining and conducting all CPO Audit processes to ensure compliance and adherence to CPO guidelines
- Develop reporting efficiencies utilizing contemporary reporting tools similar to Power Bi under the supervision and collaboration with both Senior Pre-Owned & Remarketing Analyst & Specialist
- Monitor Residual Value performance of Off-Lease Maturity sales in all Remarketing sales channels to implement measures that mitigate residual value losses
- Support Senior Pre-Owned & Remarketing Analyst in developing strong and competitive Certified Pre-Owned sales support programs
- Organizes, maintains and updates the CPO Performance Program, Remarketing Dealer Guide and Pre-Owned Registration Delivery Report(P.O.R.D.R) Sales Portal process documents
- Compile and carry out all tasks associated with completion all Internal Control Systems for Pre-Owned & Remarketing Department regulatory compliance requirements
- Research, collect and prepare Canadian Used Vehicle Market competitive reports
- Liaise with the MBC & MBFS ROM’s to review dealer feedback, trends and factors that affect dealer operations in order to maintain, adapt and further develop the CPO & Remarketing programs
- Responsible for purchase order creation and invoicing for the Pre-Owned department including accounting invoices as required

- Mercedes-Benz Fan skills, requirements & traits:
- University degree or college diploma in business management
- Minimum 3 years of automotive wholesale or retail experience
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of CPO programs, automotive retail/wholesale & After-Sales operations along with financial performance analysis
- Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office - Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in contemporary data analysis tools: (Power Bi, Tableau, Power Pivot)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; effective communication and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task and work independently.
