As an SEM Specialist, your ultimate goal will be planning, implementing, and executing wildly successful SEM strategies. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day digital marketing campaigns while maintaining, and improving upon, a strong online presence for the eCapital brand.

The SEM Specialist will aid in the management of all paid search campaigns on Google, Bing and Programmatic Display, as well as other search and display marketing engines. A successful SEM Specialist will effectively manage the paid search & display budgets while working with the SEO and Marketing team in order to maximize ROI, drive traffic, and ultimately increase clients. You will be working in collaboration with Campaign Managers, Graphic Designers, the Social Media Marketing team, and other fellow marketing team members.

You will be part of a collaborative, creative, and metrics-based team whose goal is to increase brand equity and revenue for the company. Big picture thinking with strategic and analytical skills, strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and a team-oriented attitude are all keys to being successful.

**Responsibilities**:
List of responsibilities and essential functions, which must be completed in achieving the objectives of the position.
- CRM maintenance including but not limited to merging/deleting lead records, report and dashboard creation, workflow creation, day-to-day data integrity.
- Call tracking software management including call tracking number creation and configuration.
- Day-to-day maintenance of 3rd party bidding automation software including PPC campaign budget optimization.
- Chat software account management including agent creation.
- Maintaining and configuring Google Analytics including property and view creation as well as goal and filter creation.
- Creating and maintaining Google Tag Manager containers as well as configuring tags and triggers.
- Creation and maintenance of web forms.
- Frequent UTM parameter creation.
- Execute tests, collect and analyze data, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns.
- Track, report, and analyze PPC initiatives and campaigns.
- Manage campaign expenses, staying on budget, estimating monthly costs and reconciling discrepancies.
- Optimize copy and landing pages in WordPress for paid search engine marketing campaigns.
- Perform ongoing paid keyword discovery, expansion and optimization.
- Research and analyze competitor advertising links.
- Monthly expense reconciliation including collection of monthly vendor invoices.

**Skills and Abilities**:
List of minimum educational and experience qualifications, required proficiencies with specialized knowledge, computer competencies, military service, required certifications, etc.:

- 2+ years of Marketing, Communications, or related experience, B2B a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Management, Communications, or related discipline
- Strong strategic thinking, planning and tactical execution and the ability to translate customer needs into creative campaigns and customer journeys.
- Experience in and or hands-on knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
- Experience in and or hands-on knowledge of: Call-tracking software, 3rd party bid automation software, chat software & WordPress
- Experience in and or hands-on knowledge of Google’s full suite of Digital Marketing products including, but not limited to: Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Google Optimize, Universal Tag Manager
- Ability to be highly collaborative and work across multiple teams in a complex organization
- Demonstrated ability to formulate data driven decisions that lead to results.
- Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
