**Job Overview**:
A local Canadian manufacturer with over 50 years of experience producing advanced steam generators and custom fabricating wood saunas. We are seeking a highly skilled **Production Operations Manager** to oversee all aspects of production operations, with emphasis on commercial-grade power voltage systems, woodworking machinery safety, and cross-functional coordination.

**Key Duties & Responsibilities,**
- Plan, organize, and supervise the operation of the production department.
- Oversee production lines, including boiling tank construction, control panel wiring, and electrical bench testing.
- Supervise woodworking fabrication processes, ensuring proper machinery use and adherence to safety protocols.
- Supervise staff to maintain efficiency, quality, and workplace safety.
- Train new employees in accordance with company requirements.
- Coordinate between design, PMSA & service and construction teams.
- Develop and manage production schedules, budgets, and maintenance programs.
- Implement ISO 9001 and 5C quality control systems and manage production reporting procedures.
- Manage production data, AutoCAD schematics, SolidWorks drawings, and cloud-based records.
- Define production traceability systems to synchronize product tracking with inventory control.
- Oversee parts ordering, packing and shipping requests, and coordinate staff to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
- Support field service staff and resolve client technical issues via troubleshooting calls.
- Arrange weekly production team meetings and participate in monthly GM meetings with other departments.
- Inspect and maintain factory facilities, including shop cleanliness, lighting, waterlines, and ventilation systems.
- Manage receiving and shipping at the loading dock, including maintenance of truck-lifters and punch-lifters.
- Take responsibility for minimizing losses and addressing shortcomings in the production department.

**Qualifications & Required Experience,**
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
- Minimum 10 years of supervisory/managerial experience in manufacturing.
- Licensed or qualified in industrial and commercial-grade power supply systems, with expertise in troubleshooting, transformer maintenance, power disconnectors, and electrical breakers, all in compliance with the Canadian Electrical Code.
- Hands-on knowledge of plumbing systems, including **pipe soldering and welding**.
- Experience in electronics, including **control motherboard troubleshooting**.
- Knowledge of woodworking machinery and safety protocols.
- Knowledge of chemical storage safety for **wood oil preservatives, machine cleaning acids, and flammable fragrances** in compliance with chemical safety codes.
- Strong computer skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), AutoCAD, SolidWorks, cloud data management.
- Experience preparing monthly production reports and managing data permissions, backups, and system security.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with vendors, supporting service staff, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality control systems; ISO audit license preferred to conduct monthly internal audits.
- Certifications required**:WHMIS, Worker Health & Safety Awareness, Working at Heights**.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $51.00 per hour
