Shipper/receiver - Rentals Business Unit

**Title: Shipper/Receiver** **Business Unit: Trinity Power Rentals "A Sunbelt Solomon Compnay"** **Location: Leduc, Ab** **Employment: Full-Time Regular** **Company Overview** **Description**: **Shipping & Receiving**: - Provide equipment to QAQC group that requires prep to ship modifications. - Pick equipment and cable from inventory / QAQC group as required for each project. - Prioritizing Rental orders, then accurately scan all rental equipment and cable into SAP/Bizrent rental order - Package equipment for safe transport to ensure no damages during freight - Create bills of lading and equipment packing lists and manage their implementation for each order - Load equipment to transport vehicles / trailers for each project and undertake the associated documentation process associated - Update calendars, rental orders and communicate as required to report equipment shipped / received to PM team per business best practices in place - Receive all incoming Parts, materials, and consumables. Allocate parts to relevant projects and Distribute to appropriate departments and personnel. Complete documentation process as required. - Off load returned rental equipment from transport vehicles - Scan and return rental equipment to accurately and timely modify rental orders - Inspect rental equipment and cable for physical damages and complete related Report - Clean equipment and cable so items are presentable and conforming to our rental ready standards - Move equipment and cable to QAQC holding areas and move equipment and cable from QAQC completion area to rental warehouse - Organizing Yard and warehouse to achieve optimal storage for equipment. **Equipment Inventory / Shop Maintenance**: - Ensure all equipment, tools and materials are organized and maintain general order and cleanliness of rental shop, yard and common areas - Assist with ordering consumables materials for rental shipping and receiving activities - Lock all equipment and connect heat to all dry type transformers in yard. **Personal Development** - Work with Manager to develop training and development paths - Assist Manager in setting priorities and objectives in line with the company’s overall goals - Participate in semiannual performance evaluations **Job Requirements** - Grade 12 diploma - Valid provincial Class C Driver’s License - Valid forklift operator’s license - Ability to carry out the physical requirement of the position including the ability to lift 50 lbs. - Excellent computer skills - Able to pass a Criminal Record check and reference checks - Ability to work beyond regular work hours and weekends to meet customer deadlines as required - Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills - Exceptional telephone manner - Able to make decisions and coordinate work based on information given by Managers, vendors and customers - Ability to represent the organization in a professional manner, including professional appearance, grooming and appropriate business attire. - High degree of professionalism and maturity - Ability to take direction and accept responsibility - Ability to work autonomously and remain self-motivated - Ability to work safely and effectively under deadline pressure - Detail oriented, with strong organizational skills - Intermediate to advanced skills in Outlook, Word, and Excel - Ability to type 50 wpm - Knowledge and experience with shipping & receiving procedures - Familiar with use of inventory management software **Mission, Purpose, Vision & Core Values** In developing our mission, purpose, vision and core business values, we engaged in a thoughtful process that incorporated the combined principles of our family of companies and reflects our commitment to valuing our history and investing in our people, services, and products. - ** Mission**: Through a culture of integrity, bold innovation, and customer-centricity we create value for our partners and team members with safe and reliable electrical power solutions and services. - ** Purpose**: To enhance the lives of our team members and partners through sustainable products and services in the communities we serve. - ** Vision**: To be the leading provider of customized electrical power solutions and services. - ** Core Values**: - ** People**: The core of our success. - ** Safety**: It’s in our DNA. - ** Strategic**: We forge our own future. - ** Sustainability**: Industry leaders in power distribution life cycle management. - ** Performance**: Delivering excellence at every opportunity. **Company Benefits** Sunbelt Solomon offers a comprehensive, highly competitive benefits package to employees who work 30 hours per week or more following 90 days of employment.
