**_Rental Associate_**

Border Car &Truck Rental is hiring for a full time Rental Associate, who is highly motivated and can provide a high level of friendly & professional customer service.

Border Car & Truck Rental is a locally owned and operated company, a division of the Bayview Chrysler Dodge.

**_Responsibilities and Duties include_**
- Greet customers in a professional and polite manner
- Prepare rental agreements for customers through our car rental system
- Assess daily reservation and accordingly ensure vehicles are cleaned and prepared for customers
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Answer phones in a professional manner, respond to customer inquiries
- Perform vehicle inspections upon check in/out
- Work as a team player with staff members to expedite the entire rental process
- Perform miscellaneous and administrative job-related duties as assigned
- Responsible for care of vehicles on the lot, this may include vacuuming and prepping the vehicles, cleaning vehicles with washing equipment, shuttling vehicles to and from car washes, bringing vehicles to dealership for servicing and checking fluid levels

**_Qualifications and Skills_**
- Minimum of one year of customer service experience preferred
- Valid Full “G” Class drivers license and a clean driving record for at least 1 year
- Computer Experience with knowledge of Microsoft Office and accounting programs
- Experience with payments through a point-of-sale machine
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Well developed oral and written skills
- Have excellent time management skills
- Be comfortable driving various types/sizes of vehicles
- Be punctual and flexible to work different shifts and weekends
- Be able to work in inclement weather

**Job Type**: Full-Time

**Salary**: $17.50 per hour
