**Position Summary**

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping operations at the Best Western Brantford. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a unionized environment and is passionate about maintaining high standards of cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and team collaboration.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, including room cleaning, public areas, laundry, and inventory management
- Lead, motivate, and support a unionized housekeeping team in accordance with collective agreements and hotel policies
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, sanitation standards, and brand requirements
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality assurance and guest satisfaction
- Manage scheduling, payroll, and performance evaluations for housekeeping staff
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Monitor and control housekeeping budgets, supplies, and equipment usage

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 3 years of housekeeping supervisory experience, preferably in a unionized hospitality setting
- Strong understanding of collective agreements and labor relations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to cleanliness and guest service
- Proficient in housekeeping software and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Visual Matrix PMS considered an asset
- Familiarity with Best Western brand standards and inspection criteria, including the “We Care Clean” program and quality assurance audits
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by operational needs

**Compensation and Benefits**
- Salary range: $40,000 to $45,000 annually
