As the Digital Marketing Consultant (Bilingual), you’ll be an integral part of the team supporting advisors with establishing and enhancing their digital presence and achieving their business growth goals through digital marketing initiatives. You’ll play a key role in supporting the planning and delivery of training and educational initiatives that support the understanding and adoption of various digital platforms, tools, content and services available to advisors.
You’ll be responsible for the creation of a training plan focused on sharing best practices and tactics for optimizing the use of existing and new programs and services. You will deliver training to both field leaders and advisors in both English and French.
You’ll collaborate closely with other team members across the Advisor Sales Support team to ensure digital adoption and education are incorporated into the launch and service of various marketing programs and campaigns to help drive deeper engagement and adoption of priority topics.

The Digital Marketing Consultant (Bilingual) reports to the Digital Marketing Manager within the Advisor Sales Support team in Retail Advice & Solutions. The Advisor Sales Support team delivers customized, bespoke marketing initiatives at the regional, team and individual advisor levels. The team is accountable to define and deliver marketing programs that effectively position Sun Life advisors’ distinctive value propositions for target clients and drive leads, sales and Client engagement.
**Key** **Accountabilities**
- Responsible for educating advisors and field leaders adoption of assets related to advisor digital presence including advisor website and social media activation.
- Maintain and update relevant materials to include new capabilities, processes, or best practices.
- Build and provide training and ongoing support for advisors and other business partners around digital engagement strategies, marketing programs and content.
- Engage advisors and internal stakeholders about the program to increase adoption.
- Support advisor enquires related to program, content or best practices.
- Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of digital marketing activities, program and pilots. Develop solutions to improve performance or processes.
- Report on metrics and analyze data for program and pilots. Synthesize data so that it is easy digestible and key insights and success stories are easy to identify and promote.
- Contribute to program strategy, value proposition and roadmap.
- Support advisor onboarding, initial set up and maintenance of their website, social media profiles and other digital assets.
- Identify and actively participate in initiatives related to opportunities for program improvements.
- Triage issues related to systems and technology. Provide testing support for new or improved functionality.
- Develop, implement and document new processes or changes to existing processes and practices.
- Support the program’s adoption, change management and communications initiatives. Interact directly with advisors and financial centres across Canada to understand challenges and test approaches. Work closely with the communication colleagues to align messaging, timelines and engagement strategies.
- Constantly review and assess industry developments and trends and share across the team to help innovate and improve programs and services.
- Champion innovation supporting the advisor experience, ensuring we are delivering enhanced value by anticipating and meeting their needs to support Clients.
