**Job Title**:Patron Experience Manager

**Reporting To**:General Manager

**JOB BRIEF**:
Reporting to the General Manager, the Patron Experience Manager will manage all aspects of the front of house experience at the Dekker Centre including Dekker Centre

Presents theatre events, private, and corporate events, and all other rentals. The Patron

Experience Manager will ensure that the clients and appropriate staff and volunteers are brought into the planning, coordinating, delivery and evaluating stages of all events to ensure quality customer service to our patrons, customers, partners, and clients. As well as ensure that the box office operates smoothly, effectively and efficiently. The Patron

Experience Manager is the most senior Front of House staff member responsible for the financial accountability and excellence in execution of all events.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
1. Manage the Dekker Centre Box Office by scheduling and supervising all part time and casual staff, create training materials and coordinate staff training. Work in the box office when needed and necessary.

2. Work closely with the General Manager to set up shows on ‘Theatre Manager’

(Dekker Centre ticketing system) and develop promotions using the TM system

3. Schedule and coordinate all front of house volunteers for events in the Gordon

Tootoosis Theatre

4. Work with the General Manager to do regular evaluations of all Front of House staff including box office, front of house representatives, events staff and bartenders

5. Work with the event team to plan, coordinate, promote and organize all front of house events in the Gordon Tootoosis Theatre including events in the theatre, atrium, and Lawrence Hall

6. Work closely with the Technical Director to ensure that all front of house and back of house details align for all events

7. Working closely with the General Manager purchase and maintain inventory for resale goods and operations including:

- office supplies
- janitorial supplies
- bar supplies

8. Work closely with the General Manager to provide reports for all box office sales and front of house revenues. Work with the GM to create quarterly targets and provide reports from theatre manager to the GM.

9. Provide input and assistance with marketing, along side the General Manager to help meet targets. Temporarily provide marketing assistance on a regular basis

10. Supervise and Coordinate bartenders for all private and corporate rentals

11. Manage all money handling duties associated with front of house including but not limited to floats, merchandise, and ticket and bar sales and payments for event rentals

12. Provide administrative support as needed

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- **Education and Training ** o A designation, certificate or degree in commerce, business administration, event management, or a bachelor’s degree in a recognized program would be an asset o Job experience will be taken into consideration
- **Experience ** o Two to five years related experience with administration, management or in a supervisory role o Experience in customer service o Experience managing budgets, and knowledge of bookkeeping skills is an asset o Experience in a position where excellent verbal and written communication were required o Experience working with POS software o Proficient knowledge of Office 365, Adobe, Google Drive or other such software
- **Licenses/Certificates**: _Can be achieved once hired_ o Serve It Right o Emergency First Aid / CPR

**TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT**
- Full time
- Permanent o Probationary for one year with review
- Salaried Position
- $60,000 per year to start, commensurate with experience
- 4 weeks paid vacation
