Description:
The responsibilities of this position:

- Reading blueprints, sketches and client provided drawings, work with management on designing, pricing jobs for tender.
- Provide support to the estimating team.
- Following up on steps throughout the tender process
- Coordinate with clients on requirements, issues, and schedule updates in timely manner.
- Participating in site review, tender review, tender hand-off, project closing and operational/sector meetings when and where required.
- Review, create and submit shop drawing packages and close out packages.
- Provide support to sales staff by creating, reading and modifying kitchen and bathroom plans, from customer supplied drawings from our other retail locations.
- Attend site visits as necessary to jobsites for measurement confirmations
- Work in a team environment to help each other and collectively be successful.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
- Provide support to sales staff by creating, reading and modifying kitchen and bathroom plans, from customer supplied drawings from our other retail locations.
- Attend site visits as necessary to jobsites for measurement confirmations.
- MUST have Kitchen Design Software Experience or CAD drawing for construction experience

OTHER ASSETS:

- A desire to grow and learn within the construction industry
- Technical skills and product knowledge to design and quote on kitchen installations and countertops
- Design software experience CAD and 2020 Design Software (MUST HAVE)
- Project coordination in general construction an asset
- some understanding of construction document flow process.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook
- Experience reviewing technical documents, drawings, and shop drawing submittals.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and interact with staff at various levels of the organization.
- Strong time management and multitasking ability.
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
- AutoCAD experience is an asset, but not mandatory.
- Valid drivers license.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual
Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: From $40,000.00 per year

- Kitchener, ON N2C 1L4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
