**Job Summary**
Reporting to the President, the General Manager (GM) is responsible for the efficient conduct of all aspects of Pegen’s operations, including, but not limited to production, scheduling, purchasing, finishing, shipping and receiving, and inventory control. The GM will support sales and estimating, but is not responsible for these functions.
The GM is a proven leader possessing excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. With strong communication skills, the GM is responsible for building a highly performing team and developing staff.

**Core Responsibilities**
- Direct all manufacturing and support activities
- Assure that the highest quality standards are maintained
- Personnel recruitment, evaluation, promotion, and discipline
- Liaise with customers to resolve issues
- Evaluation of manufacturing methods and process to promote increased efficiency
**Operational Responsibilities**
- Production scheduling
- Purchasing and inventory control
- Supervising logistics, shipping and receiving
- Facility and equipment maintenance
- Promoting good safety practices
**Qualifications and Skills**
- Formal technical training in machining or equivalent practical experience
- A minimum of 10 years of management and leadership experience in a machine shop
- Ability to motivate staff, evaluate performance and reward or discipline as necessary
- Demonstrated planning and implementation skills
- Budget creation and management experience
- Capacity to multi-task
- Delegates effectively
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft office and Business Management Software (ERP/MRP)

Pay: $125,000.00-$155,000.00 per year
