Job Overview:
We are seeking a Delivery Driver who can also perform order picking and assist on the loading dock as needed. This is a part-time role with opportunities for advancement to a full-time driver position at higher wages.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with maintaining an organized and efficient loading dock.
- Load trucks for deliveries and ensure products are properly placed or sent to designated coolers.
- Clean work areas and equipment and sort products for various routes and overstock.
- Deliver Hertel’s products to customers throughout Vancouver Island.
- Step in to complete delivery routes when the full-time driver is unavailable.

Qualifications:

- Recent clean driver’s abstract.
- 1 year of experience in heavy lifting, driving, and delivery driving.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, think quickly, and work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Must be able to commute reliably or relocate to Port Alberni prior to starting.

Pay and Benefits:

- Salary: $17.87 to $24.93 hourly, depending on experience
- Additional pay: Overtime.
