**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deli Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality deli products. You will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction through your knowledge of food handling and your ability to create a welcoming environment.

**Responsibilities**
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their deli selections.
- Prepare, slice, and package various deli meats, cheeses, and other food items.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the deli area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Assist customers with their inquiries and provide recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Upsell products to increase sales and promote special offers.
- Perform regular inventory checks to ensure product availability and freshness.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient workflow in the deli department.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in customer service is preferred, particularly in a food service environment.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash effectively.
- Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
- Experience with cashiering and cash handling is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
