TYCROP Trailers is looking for a **Production Supervisor **to join our growing team. The Production Supervisor plans and executes the efficient operations of production. Monitoring safety, quality, skills, staffing and delivery, while offering continuous leadership and mentorship for their team. This position requires strong budgetary and strategic planning skills and a keen eye for continuous improvement.

**Responsibilities**:

- Mediate operational problems to minimize delays and costs, close the loop through root cause analysis
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiative throughout the group to reduce costs, maximize production and increase efficiency
- Manage daily shop operations, ensuring productivity, quality and safety standards are met and objectives achieved
- Meet regularly with department heads/business unit leaders; facilitate resolution of issues/problems between business units and/or departments
- Foster effective communication across departments to maximize outputs
- Analyze and report on production metrics, including on time delivery, labour costs, etc.
- Monitor departmental performance against goals to ensure that progress is being made and that corrective action is taken if necessary
- Prepare operational budgets, verifying against financials to ensure budgets are being met
- Develop, implement and maintain standard works and WI as required
- Ensure that SWP are followed at all times, acting as an absolute safety ambassador and leading by example
- Responsible for recruitment, hiring, terminations and performance management
- Demonstrate behaviour consistent with the corporate vision, mission, values, goals and objectives in all interactions with customers, co-workers, employees and suppliers
- Perform other duties as required

**Qualifications**:

- Computer skills - proficiency in MS Office suite
- Excellent interpersonal skills and team building abilities
- Utilizes effective time management skills to coordinate the production line
- Problem solving, job task planning and organizational skills
- Flexible and willing to adapt to different project requirements
- Follows and gives oral and written instructions; maintains cooperative working relationships; demonstrates sensitivity to, and respect for a diverse population
- Excellent problem solving, job task planning and organizational skills; good judgment & decision making

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $37.22-$45.22 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
