Join Caivan’s Purchasing team as a **Purchasing Coordinator**, where you’ll manage supplier contracts, ensure price integrity, and support the delivery of high-quality homes. **The Role**:

- Coordinate the contracting process for trades from selection and tendering to award and execution, ensuring alignment with production, cost, quality, and service goals
- Maintain accurate pricing, schedules, and payments across supplier contracts
- Collaborate with the Purchasing team to implement new specifications and collect missing pricing from contractors
- Recommend process improvements to streamline contracting and supplier management
- Liaise with trade partners and internal departments to resolve conflicts and troubleshoot issues
- Partner with Technical Team Leads to improve processes, educate team members, and resolve problems
- Maintain contract documents, scopes, and supplier databases
- Manage suppliers throughout the lifecycle of Purchase Orders, including amendments as required
- Support supplier development by identifying new partners and strengthening existing relationships
- Assist in developing reporting tools to support department needs
- Contribute to departmental initiatives and supplier strategies led by the Purchasing Manager
- Complete administrative tasks and provide general support to the Purchasing team

**You Will Bring**:

- Post-secondary education; Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma preferred, or equivalent experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for contract and document management
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with internal teams and external suppliers
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with strict deadlines
- Working knowledge of ERP systems and SharePoint
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project)
- Knowledge of construction processes and products considered an asset
