**About the opportunity**:
To meet the needs of our constantly evolving clientele, Best Way Stone is looking for an energetic, positive, results-driven General Sales Manager.

The General Sales Manager will lead the outside sales team to meet and exceed company objectives and targets. The incumbent will provide guidance, training, and mentorship to the sales team to ensure they are successful in their role. The General Sales Manager will develop and implement sales strategies that reflect the organization’s goals by utilizing key metrics to enhance the growth of assigned territories in addition to developing new territories to expand and grow the business.

This position is based out of the BWS Uxbridge Office; however, it is expected that this position will require regular travel within Ontario as well as to our head office in Woodbridge.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in a similar client-facing sales role, within the Construction, Landscape or Manufacturing industries
- 5+ years of managerial experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Proven ability to effectively manage, train and develop employees.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong customer service experience, coupled with a positive, professional attitude.
- Good organizational, time management and prioritization skills
- Familiar using a CRM system to maximize communication and efficiencies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Valid driver's license.

- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve company objectives in revenue and market growth.
- Lead, train and mentor a growing sales team to ensure performance excellence.
- Foster strong, long-term customer relationships.
- Collaborate with marketing to promote products, educate customers and increase brand awareness.
- Use CRM systems to track sales activities and performance metrics.
- Collaborate and drive Best Way Stone at industry trade shows and events.
- Ensure timely, effective communication with all stakeholders.
- Performs other duties as needed and assigned.
