**Team is working hybrid and position will be onsite in Kirkland 2-3 days/week.**

Track tender websites to identify and coordinate business opportunities. Work closely and collaboratively with Sales, Marketing and other stakeholders to execute timely tender submissions. Analyze terms and conditions and coordinate negotiations. Maintain records. Contribute to continuous process improvement.

**A Day in the Life**

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Provides commercially-oriented coordination and guidance to management and business units on tenders administration.
- Prepares and administers the technical and pricing material for each tender, coordinating with all parties involved.
- Researches, tracks and coordinates tenders and contracts.
- Ensures compliance with company policies and local legislation.
- Facilitates any management approvals required for price levels and contract terms for tenders.
- Responsible for reporting complaints and Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR)
- Must be able to work flexibly to ensure submissions meet critical deadlines.
- Monitor bid sites daily for the identification of potential business opportunities for Medtronic; confirm and track.
- Prepare, organize and maintain tender records and files.
- Co-lead tender response process.
- Analyze tender documents for processes, requirements, special provisions, and terms and conditions for compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, corporate and Medtronic of Canada policies and business specific procedures. Make amendments as needed.
- Respond to general tender requirements using standard language and content.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to update and develop tender content for general responses.
- Print, Compile, Ship and Upload Tenders.
- Liaise with Customers.
- Initiate and participate in the development and execution of standard and updated processes and procedures in the Pricing and Contracts Department.
- Rapidly adopt new processes and systems.
- Support information requests (ie for business reviews, pre-tender support, etc.).
- Coordinate and support contract negotiations.
- Finalize contracts and coordinate handovers following departmental processes.
- Provide backup to the department as needed.

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree
- Bilingual (English/French); good written and oral communication is essential

**Nice to Have**

- Strong MS Office Word, Excel and Adobe skills
- Ability to assess, amend and negotiate contract terms and conditions
- Experience working with Tenders
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team and coordinate bid responses from multiple stakeholders
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload and meet critical deadlines.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Understanding of contract language and tender processes
- Knowledge of Medtronic processes and policies or demonstrated ability to learn quickly.
- Understand contract, tender and document management processes and principles.
- Experience in the medical industry is an asset.
- Contract or offer drafting experience is an asset.
- Demonstrated outstanding administrative capabilities or certification in business or a

related field
- Knowledge of Hospital procurement processes
