As an Auto Claims Representative, you will be responsible for the investigation, negotiation, and resolution of complex claims. You will help shape our client service culture through daily client interactions and by delivering innovative, client-focused solutions.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct thorough investigations, evaluate coverage, set appropriate reserves, negotiate effectively, and settle complex auto claims while assessing liability and solving problems.
- Utilize investigative skills to identify recovery opportunities (salvage and subrogation) and ensure adherence to guidelines.
- Provide feedback to leadership on process and procedure improvements that enhance the client experience.
- Support the development of junior staff by offering coaching and acting as a technical resource, providing instruction and guidance.
- Deliver exceptional client service aligned with our claims service standards, with the goal of establishing our organization as the leader in client engagement.
**Qualifications**
- A minimum of 6 months of experience in claims or a related field.
- Post-secondary education in insurance, risk management, or a related discipline.
- Extensive knowledge of policy coverages, provincial legislation and regulations, and strong expertise in insurance, claims, and client service principles, alongside a basic understanding of vehicle repairs.
