**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper storage of food items.
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Participate in daily kitchen operations, including setup and breakdown of cooking stations.

**Skills**
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Experience in meal preparation and cooking techniques within the food service industry.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with various kitchen equipment and tools used in food preparation.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with other staff members.
- Some food expediting and serving may be required.
- Full command of English is required to communicate with other staff and clients.
- A passion for cooking and a desire to learn new culinary skills.

Pay: $16.75-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 21 per week
