We are hiring production operators to support our bakeries and Team Members. Our bakery team is the heart of our company and plays an important role in keeping North America’s food supply going. Our Production Operators are an integral part of the Baking/Production/Packaging process, ensuring our delicious baked goods are baked/packaged, and safely end up on grocery store shelves and at your favorite restaurants across North America. Join us and find fulfillment and purpose in your work. In a typical day, you’ll:
- Pick, pack, wrap, sort, and package fresh products into bags and boxes.
- Work in production/packaging area to make and stack boxes onto pallets and wrap them safely.
- Inspect filled packages to ensure product is packaged according to specifications.
- Work in production/packaging area to Wrap and stack bread trays onto pallets and Operate Production Machine as required.
- Be responsible for equipment set-up and change overs and running production lines as needed for various food products.
- Assist Machine operators/Mixers/oven captains and crew with other duties as assigned.
- Work as flex operator to monitor the Production of different production lines, primarily the packing department
- Cover multiple positions depending on vacation and absenteeism need.
- May assist sanitation crew in the cleanliness of production equipment and area
- Ensure all Food Safety and Health & Safety policies and procedures are followed About You:
- A lover of bread and baked goods
- You must be comfortable to loft 50 pounds repetitively.
- You have strong people skills—you’re approachable, a good listener, and empathetic
- You have previously worked in a manufacturing environment (even better if it was food manufacturing)
- You’re dedicated to the health and safety of yourself and your colleagues
