POSITION OBJECTIVE:
AREAS OF OVERSIGHT + RESPONSIBILITIES:
The role of Marketing + Content Assistant reports and works directly with the Company President and Director of Operations / Marketing to maintain accurate and up-to-date systems. In their role, they are responsible for preparing and executing routine tasks, along with reviewing project updates on a weekly basis.
- Updating + maintaining our product catalog across our websites
- Updating + maintaining our library of brand content
- Creating + scheduling social media content, ad campaigns + newsletters
- Reply to social media comments and engage with our audiences
- Help grow the social media presence of our brands
- Weekly progress updates + compile monthly marketing data
- Supporting our Marketing Team with projects and tasks as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience with these platforms are an asset but not required - Shopify, Canva, Squarespace, Later.
- Be highly adaptable with a willingness to learn and grow with the company.
- Be self-motivated and able to work with authority and without supervision.
- Must have strong written and oral communication skills.
- Must have the ability to work under pressure and meet occasional deadlines.
- Must be able to prioritize, multi-task and have creative problem solving skills.

REMUNERATION:

- Compensation: $17 per hour during probationary period of 3 months, with potential to increase thereafter. Payroll is paid twice monthly by direct deposit. Additional bonuses, based on performance and targets.
- Vacation Entitlement: Your vacation entitlement will be 2 weeks per annum.
- Benefits: Medical, dental, life and accidental death coverage is available and paid 50% by the Company. Other benefits such as complementary laser + skincare treatments and team discounts.
- Expenses: The company will provide a computer and cell phone as well as cover the costs of reasonable expenses related to your responsibilities.
