Vaughan, Canada Team Maple Walk in Clinic Full time

We're looking for a phlebotomist/medical assistant who has experience working in a busy walk in/family practice clinic. An individual with a positive attitude who is:

- An expert at blood draw and collecting lab samples for submission to lab for analysis
- CSMLS or MLT certified or working towards one is an asset.
- Assist physicians on site with patient encounters, history taking, vitals, injections, physicals, dressing, suture removals, ECG, Pap Smears and assist with other in clinic procedures.
- good with computer, an expert in EMR. Experience working with OSCAR is a plus.
- serve patients with a smile.
- work well with the team.
- can multitask.
- Answer online inquiries and appointment requests.
- call patients for follow ups after lab results/appointment confirmation from specialists' office.
- Inventory and order medical/lab supplies.
- Minimum 2 yrs of experience is required working as a certified phlebotomist in a reputable clinic/lab/hospital.

**Job Type**: Full time/Part-time

**Salary**: $18.00 to $20.00 /hour

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay
