**Position Summary**:
As a Production and Packaging Operator at AGF, you will report to the Production Manager and support our manufacturing team by performing a range of production and packaging duties. This includes precise product packaging, safe operation of machinery, and accurate preparation of goods for shipment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Package products accurately, following detailed work instructions
- Inspect parts during packaging to ensure a high standard of quality
- Ensure correct quantities are packaged and make efficient box size decisions to optimize space and minimize waste
- Operate various hand and power tools including pneumatic staplers, cordless drills, carton sealers, and heat sealers
- Stack and prepare finished boxes on pallets for shipping
- Read and interpret work orders accurately
- Operate machinery and material handling equipment safely and effectively
- Use manual pallet jacks or forklifts to transport materials
- Communicate regularly with the Supervisor regarding productivity
- Maintain clean work areas and perform basic equipment maintenance
- Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment
- Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma (Grade 12) preferred
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience operating power tools, packaging machinery, and forklifts is an asset
- Basic math and computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Effective organizational and communication skills
- Ability to meet time targets and support production efficiency
- Team-oriented and dependable

**Other Details**:

- Full-time, Monday to Friday
- Shift hours: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (hours may vary based on business needs)
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
- Must be comfortable working in a noisy and dusty environment
- Must have clear criminal record check
- Requires CSA-approved (green label) safety shoes
- Must be willing to support other departments as needed
