Join our family-operated waste and recycling company, focusing on providing exceptional service in industries such as asbestos disposal, construction, and demolition. As a skilled Class 1 Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring safe and efficient highway transportation of asbestos from BC to Alberta while delivering outstanding customer service in a physically demanding position.

**Responsibilities**:

- Safely and proficiently operate Class 1 roll-off trucks for highway hauling of asbestos from BC to Alberta, adhering to industry-specific requirements, relevant regulations, and company policies.
- Load and unload roll-off containers containing asbestos at designated locations, ensuring secure placement and minimizing the risk of accidents or damage.
- Conduct thorough pre
- and post-trip inspections of trucks and equipment, promptly reporting any maintenance or repair issues.
- Coordinate with dispatch and team members to optimize routes and schedules for efficient and timely service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of driving activities, hours of service, equipment maintenance, and client interactions.

**Requirements**:

- Valid Class 1 driver's license
- Adequate physical fitness to meet the job's demands
- Minimum 1-year highway experience operating Class 1 manual vehicles (preferred)
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn about asbestos handling and transportation regulations
