**About the Role**:
**Budtender Responsibilities**:

- Checking customers' identification to verify that they are of legal age.
- Educating customers on the safe use of cannabis products.
- Advising customers on suitable cannabis products based on their needs and preferences.
- Staying up to date with new cannabis products on the market as well as the latest industry trends to better advise the customers.
- Provide an exceptional customer experience.
- Ensuring that the store floor is always clean and well-organized.
- Product display setup and restocking after sale.
- Maintain a clean and organized stockroom.
- Maintain a clean and organized store front.
- Assisting in Inventory count.
- Support, guide and answer questions throughout customers journey in store and over the phone.
- Process transactions and orders.
- Complete tasks as assigned by store managers.

- Flexible and reliable work ethics.

- Knowledge of cannabis strains and effects (is considered an asset)
- Knowledge of accessories and consumption methods (is considered an asset).
- Retail or service experience (prior cannabis industry experience is considered an asset)

**Requirements**:

- Bi-lingual
- Flexible availability required to work nights, weekends, holidays and peak summer season.
- 3 recent references.

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Cannabis Industry: 1 year (preferred)
- Previous Budtender, and or Sales experience in a retail environment considered an asset.

**Legal Requirements: (must be obtained and valid prior to start date)**
- Must be 19+ as per Ontario law
- CannSell Certification (Ontario
- Criminal background check

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
