Peterbilt Manitoba Ltd. is looking for a customer-oriented and knowledgeable _Parts Counter Representative_ to join the Winnipeg Parts Department. Reporting directly to the Parts Manager, the _Parts Counter Representative _is responsible for assessing customer needs and taking customer orders while providing excellent customer service experience. This is a full time, permanent position located in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

**The Role**:

- Provide an exceptional customer service experience to customers in person and over the phone
- Process parts requests and returns, quote prices, advise of product availability, create purchase orders, and collect payment
- Increase sales by upselling and cross-selling related products
- Provide Service Technicians with parts as required
- Maintain the retail sales floor, counter and displays to dealership standards
- Assist with inventory
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Knowledge of heavy-duty parts considered an asset
- Superior interpersonal skills; able to communicate clearly and interpret customer needs
- Ability to lift 50lbs. consistently and safely
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer programs
