**MERCHANDISER**

1 merchandiser required for the Toronto area
Home Depot store: Stockyards.
Part-time seasonal position

**Who we are**:
A horticultural producer with a flourishing history for 6 generations. Local people who are proud to produce and offer high quality plants, respecting the environment. Our company, which serves Home Depot store chains, specializes in the production of perennials, herbs, vegetables and tropical plants.

Horticultural skills and knowledge are not required. Training will be offered by the company.

**What you will do**:
Receive, unwrap and unload plant deliveries.

Put plants on displays.

Communicate regularly with the team at Rosaire Pion Greenhouses and with the team at Home Depot.

Manage store space with the collaboration of the team.

General plant care.

Maintain an adequate inventory of plants and carts in store.

Provide information and help customers, if necessary.

**What we are looking for**:
Must be able to move to different stores when needed (vehicle, public transport or others)

Autonomy, ability to plan and organize work efficiently.

Good communication, verbally and writing.

Good judgment.

Good physical condition.

Flexible and reliable, mainly during the intense period of seasonal activities.

Considered as an asset: experience in sales, customer service or as a merchandiser.

**What we offer**:
Part-time, 20-30 hours per week.

Beginning of employment: As soon as possible.

Period of employment: 2 months

Mileage reimbursement policy.

Reimbursement policy for cell phone use.

**Salary**: from 17,55$ per hour (to be determined on the basis of knowledge/experience).
