About the Role:

The Visual Merchandiser, Pre-Season Planning is responsible for supporting the development of visual merchandising strategies that align with seasonal assortment plans and overall business objectives. This role partners closely with Design and Buying to ensure visual merchandising strategies align with overall brand vision and are operationally scalable across all stores.

This position focuses on planning and translating product assortments and category strategies into clear visual frameworks that aligns with our company’s vision to help ‘Canadian’s live life well’.

What You’ll Do:

- Support the development of pre-season visual merchandising strategies; ensuring clarity of offer is evident by zone/fixture.

- Create and maintain fixture plans.

- Partner cross functionally with Design, Buying, Product Development, and Marketing to align on seasonal direction.

- Translate overall business and Design strategies into clear, executable visual merchandising plans.

- Work with Category Managers to determine reduced assortments, while maintaining overall brand vision and business strategies.

- Contribute to visual merchandising presentations, showroom set ups, in-store walkthroughs, and store execution tools.

- Ensure visual merchandising strategies align with brand standards, space constraints, and operational requirements.

- Support with in-season directive builds and store communication materials.

Qualifications:

- 3-5+ years of experience in visual merchandising at an apparel brand; corporate visual merchandising experience considered an asset.

- Strong understanding of apparel retail and visual merchandising and store layout principals.

- Proven ability to organize information and communicate concepts clearly.

- Familiarity with fixture libraries, SKU density considerations, and space optimization.

- Ability to think both creatively and analytically about space and product.

- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.

- Collaborative and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
