**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Manage daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all areas are cleaned to the highest standards.
- Supervise and train housekeeping staff, providing guidance on best practices in cleaning and maintenance.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules that optimize efficiency while maintaining quality.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning schedules around events and occupancy levels.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that all necessary items are stocked and in good working order.
- Address any guest concerns or complaints related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the housekeeping department.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in a housekeeping management role, preferably within the hospitality or hotel industry.
- Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and custodial best practices.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with staff and guests.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to cleaning operations.
