**Job Summary**

We are currently seeking to fill the position of Executive Housekeeper which is an integral part of the hotel's management team. This challenging, hands-on position has overall responsibility for managing the day-to-day housekeeping and laundry operations to ensure product brand standards are met with optimum service to our guests. Qualifications - Min. High School Diploma or equivalent - Min. 3 years proven successful Housekeeping Management experience in a hotel/resort. - Branded hotel experience as well as working in a union environment will be considered an asset. - Fluent in oral and written English. - Fluent in hotel PMS systems. - Must possess basic computer skills and have working knowledge of Microsoft Office. - Must be self motivated, and possess proven leadership skills. - Must be available to work most weekends and during peak periods.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Managing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, promoting a safe environment and quality service with emphasize, productivity and guest satisfaction. -Ensure schedules are done in a timely manner, Manage and inspect the daily cleaning of guest rooms, public areas including fitness centre, heart of the house and lobby to ensure adherence to cleanliness, maintenance and brand standards. - Recruit, hire, train, lead, mentor, motivate and discipline when required housekeeping associates. - Follow established guidelines and procedures in conjunction with established par stocks, supply ordering, monthly and year-end inventories. - Keep up to date with all Brand Standards and ensure standards are followed by all associates. - Respond to all guest requests and concerns in a timely and efficient manner. - Ensure that all maintenance issues/discrepancies are reported to the maintenance department, and ensure that follow up is done to ensure the safety and satisfaction of hotel guests and associates. - Take responsibly for the proper organization, cataloging and storage of all Lost and Found items. - Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.

**Qualifications and Skills**

Branded hotel experience as well as working in a union environment will be considered an asset.

Min. 3 years proven successful Housekeeping Management experience in a hotel/resort

Pay: From $21.50 per hour
