Memorial Medical Clinic is looking for a part-time or full-time family physician to join our team. We have two large exam rooms available. Those looking to relocate a practice or establish a new practice are welcome. Interest in seeing some walk-in patients would be an asset to the clinic but is not required. Two full-time Family Physicians currently practice in the clinic. We take pride in our friendly atmosphere and encourage autonomy for Physicians that work with us. Services include on-site management, experienced receptionists, and professional billing services. Each exam room is fully furnished and we use Accuro EMR. Our facility contains a procedure room, staff lounge with charting area, on-site psychiatry services, conference room, on-site pharmacy, and dietitian services.
**Main Duties**:Examine patients
- order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures, and consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health
- Prescribe and administer medications and treatments
- Provide acute care management
- Vaccinate patients to prevent and treat diseases
- Advise patients and their families on health care including health promotion, disease, illness, and accident prevention
- Provide counseling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues
- Provide continuous care to patients
**Qualifications**
- Must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba (CPSM)
- Canadian College of Family Physicians (CCFP) preferred
Renumeration / Overhead Split: 80 / 20
