We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic** Flat Deck Loader** to join our team

**Job Summary**:
The Flatdeck Loader is responsible for efficiently and safely loading and securing LTL freight on flatdeck trailers using a forklift. This role requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of load securement, and the ability to work in a fast-paced freight environment.

**Work Schedule/Shift**:
Monday-Friday; 14:00-22:30 with some overtime

11398 Bridgeview Dr, Surrey BC V3R 0C2

**Key Responsibilities**

- Load and unload freight onto flat deck trailers using a forklift.
- Ensure freight is properly placed, balanced, and secured using appropriate tie-downs, tarps, straps, chains, or other securement equipment.
- Verify shipment accuracy and check for damages or discrepancies.
- Follow all company, customer, and regulatory safety standards.
- Perform visual inspections of equipment and report any hazards or concerns.
- Work closely with dispatch, drivers, and dock staff to meet loading schedules and service commitments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Complete all required paperwork and scanning as needed.

**Qualifications**

- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience loading flat decks in an LTL or freight environment (preferred).
- Valid forklift certification
- Strong understanding of load securement standards for flat deck freight.
- Ability to read load diagrams, BOLs, and freight documentation.
- Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
- Physically able to lift/move freight as required.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Safety-first mindset.

**Compensation & Benefits**:

- $28.27/hour to start
