Regina, Canada Neighbourly Pharmacy Full time

Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Rubicon Health Solutions in Regina, Saskatchewan.
**Patient Focused Care Responsibilities**:

- Support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in providing high-quality patient care
- Greet customers and answer phone calls in a professional manner
- Assist with entering, labelling, and packaging prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist or pharmacy technician
- Accurately count, measure, and package medications according to established protocols
- Receive and stock medication and supply shipments, monitor inventory levels, rotate stock, and support inventory audits
- Keep the pharmacy area clean and organized; safely dispose of expired medications and hazardous waste in accordance with regulations
- Perform clerical tasks such as filing, faxing, scanning, and assist with insurance claims and prescription transfers
- Assist with daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Assistant in a retail pharmacy with a preliminary understanding of the pharmacy business.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to thrive in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience in advanced skills (e.g., Compounding, automation, central fill, compliance packaging, OAT).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and pharmacy software, Kroll is an asset.
- Ability to stand for long periods and occasional lifting of boxes/containers
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

**Schedule**:

- 40 hours per week.
- This position requires availability for shifts scheduled between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, as well as every other weekend from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Availability on both weekdays and weekends is essential.
- 8-hour shift.
