Yard Worker

We are currently seeking a FULL TIME lumber yard associate to fill position. Must be available to work Monday to Friday and be available for some weekends (Saturday and Sunday). The lumber yard associate would report directly to the yard supervisor.

Valid G licence with a clean abstract would be an asset.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assist customers in loading product safely and efficiently
- Check invoices and verify correct product is provided
- Assist with the daily upkeep of the yard including offloading trucks, organizing stock, cleaning, building loads for delivery, & maintaining pallets/stock
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment for employees and customers
- Opening and closing duties as needed in the Yard

- Ability to work outside in all conditions, year round
- Available to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- 100% commitment to a safe work environment
- Ability to perform physical work with medium and heavy lifting on a regular basis
- Related experience and knowledge an asset
- Excellent listening, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently or with a team
- Driven with the ability to take initiative

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $16.55 per hour
