**Position Summary**

As an Operations Coordinator at Matrox, your mission will be to coordinate employees’ requests and concerns relating to the building operations and safety and security in the workplace within our maintenance team. The coordinator must provide a level of customer service to our employees to ensure that their requests and concerns are dealt with in an efficient and timely manner.

**Responsibilities**
- Delegate and assign tasks to members within the Building Operations and Security Department
- Manage equipment on-loan to employees and other companies;
- Coordinate the fire response teams within Matrox;
- Liaison between Matrox and outsourcing companies for evacuation procedures;
- Write business communications on behalf of the department in both English and French;
- Create and update forms and manuals;
- Generate and tabulate spreadsheets;
- Data entry and update databases;
- Coordinate and schedule trainings to maintain specialty certifications such as First Aid and Forklift Certificates;
- Oversee new employee safety procedures for emergency situations;
- Overseeing ergonomics for employees with medical files and update ergonomic registries;
- Maintain vehicle certifications and registrations;
- Carry out general office tasks and administrative tasks related to building maintenance.

**Qualifications**
- A DEC, DEP or AEC Diploma in Office Systems Management, Business Management or a related field.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills;
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently;
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word;
- Ability to prioritize based on urgency and manage multiple tasks;
- Excellent written and verbal skills in English and French;
- Building operations and maintenance knowledge would be an asset.
