You as a Corporate HSE Coordinator will support the team in several areas including, but not limited to:
Maintain and manage HSE information, tools, documents, and data using HSE Management system software such as EHS Insight.
Collate and assemble electronic information with regards to HSE statistics.
Collaborate with the HSE team to analyze, monitor, follow-up and support the implementation of HSE programs and initiatives.
Assist with subcontractor HSE prequalification process.
Prepare HSE alerts, toolbox talks, and other communications.
Is this role right for you?
Bachelors degree or diploma/certificate in Health & Safety
1- 2 years of related experience in health & safety
Proficiency using computer software programs with a strong technical aptitude
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as experience with Outlook and SharePoint
Familiarity in EHS Insight or other HSE Management software is an asset
Interest in understanding and analyzing data to create metrics and reports to drive continuous improvement in Health & Safety.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an emphasis on organization and attention to detail to meet deadlines
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced corporate environment
Able to work in-office located in Mississauga, ON
