MD Management Limited, a division of Scotia Wealth Management, has an exciting opportunity for a talented, enthusiastic, and client-focused Financial Consultant, Regional Accounts to join our team. As a Financial Consultant, Regional Accounts you will be responsible for reengaging clients and actively promoting and referring clients to the MD offering best suited to their needs. You will also play a key role in prospecting and growing the client base. **Is this role right for you? In this role you will**: - Build rapport and trusted relationships with MD clients through active listening, responding to queries, and by developing an appreciation of what’s important to them **The Must Haves**: - University degree in business, commerce or equivalent degree related to the practice of financial planning - IIROC Licensed as a Registered Representative (RR), will also consider IR licensed - At minimum, the Canadian Securities Course & Conduct & Practices Handbook is required - Completion of the Group Annuity Sector (PQPAV) (Quebec offices only); Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) (all other provinces) - Demonstrated working knowledge of financial planning and financial services - Bilingual (French/English) preferred **Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? - We’d love to work with you if you have**: - A commitment to an exceptional client experience by consistently delivering an exemplary level of service - A desire to learn and further your knowledge - The ability to work independently and as part of a broader team - A high level of comfort with technology to support virtual meetings - Excellent communication skills - A focus on achieving results in doing what’s best for the client Location(s): Canada : Ontario : Ottawa || Canada : Alberta : Calgary || Canada : British Columbia : Vancouver || Canada : Ontario : Toronto Scotiabank is a leading bank in the Americas.
