**Minimum Qualifications**:
- Class 5 license and clean abstract
- Knowledge of traffic plans and legislative requirements for traffic control
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Previous construction experience
**Day in the Life**:
Think of yourself as a conductor of the roads. Choreographing the dance of cars, trucks, and pedestrians, ensuring a smooth flow of traffic. Your stage? The streets and intersections of the of the city. Your tools? Hand signals, signs, and a keen eye for safety. Join us in directing the rhythm of the road a quick commute for the public. Your mission will be to safeguard your team, pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers as they navigate the roads. With your vigilant eyes and steady hand, you’ll ensure smooth traffic flow while prioritizing the safety of all road users.
Strong communication skills will be an essential aspect of this role as you engage with the general public in a professional manner. You will also have the opportunity to drive a pilot truck, when required. Enjoy the sunny weather and beautiful views of Atlantic Canada while working with state of the art equipment, traveling around the area.
