Barback/Expediter Description
- Assist bartenders in preparing and serving drinks by restocking inventory, cleaning glasses and utensils, and replenishing garnishes and supplies.
- Keep the bar area clean and organized by wiping down counters, sweeping the floor, and disposing of trash and empty bottles.
- Retrieve and deliver food, and supplies to tables or the bar area as needed.
- Collaborate with bartenders and servers to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items and their ingredients to answer customer questions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness of back-of-house areas, such as the kitchen and storage areas.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, such as setting up or breaking down the bar area.
- Follow safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and ensuring their satisfaction.
