INKAS® Safe Manufacturing is well-established safe manufacturer located in Toronto and has been in the industry for over 20 years. We are located in the Finch and 64 Signet Dr. area and are easily accessible by public transit, if required.

We are currently seeking a Paint-Prep Technician for full-time position to join our team.

**Position Overview**:

- Preparing safes and safe parts for painting in accordance with the department’s guidelines
- Operates variety of painting and reparation equipment
- Follows all company rules and policies, safety rules

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Prepare surfaces to be painted by cleaning, sanding
- Fill cracks and holes with appropriate material
- Use sander and grinder to smooth and clean as appropriate prior to and after welding
- Maintain a clean workspace and tools

**Experience**:

- 1+ years of experience in prepping

**Physical Requirements**:

- Regularly required to stand and walk. Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb. Ability to lift 50 pounds. Manual dexterity, repetitive motion tasks. Frequent exposure to toxic chemicals. Moderate noise level. Respirators must be worn, and other protective equipment may be required.
