Rebuild Technician

We’re looking for experienced Rebuild Technicians with expert-level drywall skills - from demolition all the way through to final painting. If you know how to tear it down, put it back up, mud it, sand it, and paint it like it never happened, you might be the right fit.

This is a hands-on role for someone who knows the entire drywall process inside and out and takes pride in clean, finished work.

Job Responsibilities:

- **Drywall Demolition**: Tear down existing drywall, safely remove damaged sections, and prepare the site for rebuild
- **Prep Work**: Inspect and prepare surfaces, including framing, insulation, and vapor barriers
- **Installation**: Measure, cut, and hang new drywall (walls and ceilings); install corner beads and trim
- **Finishing**: Tape, mud, and sand drywall seams and patches to a smooth, paint-ready finish
- **Painting**: Prime and paint finished drywall, matching textures and colors as needed
- **Cleanup & Quality Control**: Maintain clean job sites, conduct final quality checks, and ensure customer satisfaction
- **Other Tasks as Needed**: Assist with related rebuild or restoration tasks based on project scope and supervisor direction

Qualifications:

- Minimum 3 years of hands-on drywall experience
- Strong knowledge of full-cycle drywall processes (demo to paint)
- Skilled with hand and power tools (drywall saws, drills, sanders, taping tools, etc.)
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, climbing ladders, and overhead work
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality finishes
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- North York, ON M9L 1R3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Drywall: 3 years (required)
