As a member of our Analysis and Research team, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing data and accounting and financial transaction information. The solutions you help specify will ensure businesses receive refunds from major eCommerce marketplaces like Amazon and shipping carriers like: UPS, FedEx and Canada Post.

**The Role**

The role will suit someone with a strong background in data analysis or a diploma in data analysis and relevant, recent data analysis experience working with carrier shipping and/or marketplaces like Amazon. The role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to review data, analyze results, specify system requirements and rigorously interpret policy documents.

You will also work with other departments, so strong communication skills and the ability to conduct thorough research and share the results of your analysis will be crucial. This will include interaction with our programming team to evolve process improvements, specify software system enhancements and establish data governance strategies where appropriate; our Claims and Refunds Team to help establish data management guidelines and report results; and our Sales and Marketing team to share research findings.

**Education & Experience Requirements**
- Degree or diploma in a business or data science related discipline
- Minimum 2 years experience in data analysis, management, linkage, interpretation and reporting.
- Strong data manipulation skills with Google Sheets or Excel
- Proficiency with analytical tools like: SQL Server, Python and R Studio (or equivalent)
- Proficiency with data visualization tools like: Power BI and Tableau (or equivalent)
- Experience performing data analysis and mining with structured databases
- Experience developing and implementing data manipulation standards and models
- Experience implementing rudimentary Machine Learning processes for more efficient data analysis
- Demonstrable business insight and ability to discover new markets and opportunities for new audit services
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Ability to prioritize multiple assignments simultaneously. Must have strong organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills

Nice To Have:

- Experience working with or within businesses using eCommerce & online marketplaces like Amazon
- Shipping-related experience with a business using national carriers like: UPS, FedEx and Canada Post
- Direct experience working for Amazon or a national shipping carrier

**Pay & Benefits**
- $18 - 25 per hour (depending on experience)
- 13 days vacation
- Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
- Finish at 2pm every Friday
