**Job Summary**
This is a part time mixed role receptionist and cleaner.

We are seeking Saturday coverage from 8am-2pm (with plans to expand to 4pm). There may be opportunities for sick coverage and cross coverage. To be clear, this is a part-time role with a guaranteed 6 hours of work on Saturdays with near-term plans to increase this to 8 hours. The likely division of work tasks would be 4-6 hours of reception and light cleaning/tidying and 2 hours of deeper cleaning.

**Responsibilities**

Reception:

- Greet patients and clients warmly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere at the front desk.
- Manage incoming phone calls, directing calls appropriately, and taking messages as needed.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring optimal use of provider availability.
- Maintain accurate and updated patient records within the EMR.
- Assist with administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
- Handle patient inquiries regarding services, insurance, and billing procedures in a professional manner.
- Ensure the front desk area is organized and presentable at all times.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and effective communication within the office.
- Work directly with the Clinic Manager to ensure rooms are stocked, inventory is maintained, and supplies are ordered.

Cleaner:

- Ensure clinic rooms and common spaces, bathrooms, and gym space is cleaned according to Clinic Manager direction.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a medical office setting is a plus.
- Comfort using phone systems and office equipment.
- Administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
- Experience with Jane and Accuro EMRs is a plus.
- Bilingualism (French/English) is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
- Ability to multitask while maintaining professionalism.
- Additional certification in office administration is a plus.
- Comfort with cleaning, including bathrooms, clinic rooms, and common spaces.
