The Assistant Manager duties include, but are not limited too:

- Managing staff to help maintain and achieve restaurant operational standards, daily service targets and optimal guest satisfaction
- Monitoring and controlling labour, food and waste costs
- Coaching & training being able to support and give staff the right nudges at the right times to set them up for success
- Spending time every shift on the floor supporting and working with staff
- Ensuring all food safety regulations are followed
- Assisting with inventory management
- Assisting Store Manager with day to day tasks (covering responsibilities while Store Manager is not present)
- Other duties which involve the day to day operation of a quick service restaurant

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Some restaurant management experience - one year or more (A&W Experience prefered)
- Quick service restaurant experience preferred
- College or University Education an asset
- Food handling certificate
- Access to reliable transportation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Great social skills and love for interacting with other people
- A leader and a team player
- Fluent English language skills

**Salary**: $17.00-$19.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)
