The role**:
The primary purpose of the role, is to support the Global Payments platform that handles eCommerce transactions, by assisting customers to integrate with it, and by assisting to resolve post-integration issues. As a highly-trained technical expert, you will be the first point of contact for those customers, thereby making a vital contribution to the operation and growth of the eCommerce business, as you also get to play with some really cool technology.

What you will do**:

- Refer customers to published materials and secondary information sources, or escalate enquiries to more senior staff so that customer enquiries are answered accurately and promptly.
- Use databases or other computerized systems, to maintain up-to-date customer records, to track the volume, content and outcomes of enquiries received, and to access information, checklists, scripts, guidelines, and other materials, for responding to customers’ enquiries.

Required Qualifications**:

- Strong client-facing skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bilingual (English/French)
- Ability to guide new customers through the integration process and provide training on Global Payments eCommerce products and services
- Solid task
- and time-management skills, with an appreciation for assigned priorities
- Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science or IT-related field, or minimum 1 year experience in a handson IT role (e.g. software support analyst)
- Proven track record of excellent customer service in a working environment
- Basic knowledge of payment processing concepts
- Working experience with web technologies such as PHP, Javascript, CSS, HTML5, Java and general IT web solutions (preferred)
- Basic knowledge or experience of software development concepts e.g. XML, web services, relational databases,.NET framework
- Ability to work flexible hours and to do shift work
