Veterinary Receptionist

**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and their beloved pets, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring a smooth operation of the front desk. Your responsibilities will include managing appointments, handling inquiries, and supporting our veterinary staff in delivering high-quality care.

**Duties**
- Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival and provide a friendly atmosphere.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring efficient use of the veterinarian's time.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, procedures, and pet care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage billing processes.
- Assist in the preparation of laboratory samples as needed.
- Provide information on pet health products and services offered at the clinic.
- Handle client concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on client interaction.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with veterinary terminology and laboratory procedures is a plus.
- Proficient in using computer systems for scheduling and record management.
- A genuine love for animals and commitment to providing excellent care.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in veterinary technology or related fields is advantageous.
