**Seed Production Technician - Agriculture Background Required**

**Location**: Lethbridge County, AB T1J 5N9
**Contract**: 5+ Months (Extendable)
**Pay**: $23.00/hr (without benefits)
**Shifts**: Rotating every 2 weeks
- Day: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Evening: 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
- 40 hours per week + optional overtime + some Saturdays

**About the Role**

We are seeking a Seed Production Technician with an agriculture or seed industry background to support our production operations in Lethbridge County. This position involves hands-on work with seed conditioning, packaging, and quality control in a clean, safety-focused facility.

**Responsibilities**
- Perform seed cleaning, sizing, treating, and packaging
- Support sampling, labeling, and reworking of 50 lb. seed bags
- Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment (training provided if needed)
- Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehousing
- Maintain accurate production and quality records using Excel and Outlook
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
- Perform general maintenance and housekeeping tasks as directed

**Requirements**:

- Background in agriculture, seed handling, or crop production (required)
- Comfortable using computers and programs such as Excel and Outlook
- Forklift experience preferred (or willing to learn)
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work indoors/outdoors in varying conditions
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and willing to work rotating shifts

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Diploma or coursework in Agriculture or a related field
- Experience in seed processing or manufacturing environments
