About the role
Reporting to the Financial Manager, the IT Administrator aligns the technology with CEP’s business needs ensuring seamless functionality of all platforms and security measures. Developing and implementing technology initiatives including the successful implementation and management of change are the key deliverables of this role.
Job Functions
- Proactively work with all stakeholders, from leadership to end-users, to understand business activities, needs and concerns; provide expert advice and input, resolve issues, and collaborate on projects with a focus on service delivery outcomes and expectations.
- Source, acquire, and implement new technologies that are expandable and allow integration with existing technology platforms. Proactively manage the change process.
- Collaborate with external partners, develop, and administer systems including research, testing, documentation, training, and rollout of new and/or upgrade of technology with mínimal disruption to ongoing operations providing regular updates to stakeholders and end-users.
- Build and maintain healthy working relationships, across the Country, with technology contractors, service providers, and vendors to keep abreast of new products, emerging trends, updates, and improvements to existing offerings. Participate in the contract’s negotiations, resolve issues, and ensure quality and performance expectations are met.
- Maintain and improve quality assurance and data protection processes, policies, and procedures. Create overall technology standards and practices and ensure adherence to data protection, privacy and other relevant regulations and standards.
- Monitor systems’ performance and make recommendations on stability or performance improvements where applicable.
- Test new features, technology, and tools. Develop material and impart training to end-users on such changes in the system. Keep all training manuals and materials up to date.
- Provide adequate training, education, and support to technology users as and when needed.
- Administer inventory or hardware and software by used in the Company including but not limited to computers, laptops, printers, scanners, all communication devices, cameras, and other digital equipment. Ensure that inventory is fully operational and well maintained at all times. Arrange and issue new devices when required for employees and Company offices. Ensure that all devices are retrieved when any employee leaves.
- Be the keeper of CEP Helpdesk and answer users’ queries and resolve system and employees’ issues in collaborations with Salesforce/FinancialForce administrator and external specialised partners when required.
- Provide trouble-shooting support to all users and arrange maintenance of IT resources as and when required (an additional member in the team will also help on that side).
- Deliver on any other special mandates as and when assigned.

The profile we are looking for
Education
- University degree in computer sciences or related technical discipline.
Experience
- 5 years of progressive experience of technology administration
- Experience with systems design and development from business requirements analysis through to day-to-day management. Hands on experience with IT project management
- Experience with Egnyte, GCP, Salesforce, Financial Force, Azure directory, Jamf, Mac and PC management, Microsoft 365 and other Saas
- Contracts and projects management with external partners
Key Skills
- Must be bilingual with excellent communication skills in French and English
- Solid understanding of both business and technology strategy, change management, and a principled approach to digital transformation challenges and opportunities.
- Knowledge of current practices and standards related to technical operations, industry trends, and evolving technologies.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory and governance processes and practices, enterprise software and hardware systems, data processing, systems integration, and outsourced systems.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, organizational, change management, and leadership skills with the ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms.
- Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Well-versed in current technological trends and familiar with a variety of business concepts.
