**SUMMARY**
The Website Coordinator plays an integral role in development and maintenance of the external website. The position is responsible for providing a variety of administrative and support functions. They must have a strong working knowledge of website standards, best practices, and technical skills.
**ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Participates in the execution of digital, website content and governance strategy that supports and integrates with strategic goals and objectives to increase brand awareness and reach.
- Supports the execution of a website content calendar that identifies opportunities for engagement and visibility and supports organizational communications objectives.
- Maintains the website’s site architecture, UX and content strategy.
- Applies knowledge of the brand and style guide to content updates and the development of new digital content.
- Supports the management of BCFSA website and microsites.
- Monitors project plans and schedules, maintain project notes to track issues and action items, and provides updates to project team members.
- Monitors and analyzes website metrics and, generate reports.
- Maintains electronic filing and archiving systems of online resources.
- Contributes to the team’s development of internal work practices (e.g., policies, procedures, and tools).
- Provides orientation and training to internal and/or external stakeholders within the area of responsibility. Contributes to, participates in, and supports organizational business transformation initiatives.
**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Diploma in Communications or Marketing with experience in website maintenance and digital content production or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong working knowledge of content management systems (Drupal).
- Strong understanding of Google Analytics, SEO, website standards and best practices.
- UX, website layout and design skills. HTML/CSS knowledge is an asset.
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent editing and proofreading skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
